The latest exhibition at Crawford House Museum is “At Home with the Crawfords”. It’s the story of the William Ambrose Crawford family who lived in “Olivene” (now Crawford House Museum) and features family objects, memorabilia and photographs which give an insight into the larger history of the period from 1910 ‘til 1980. See how World War 1 was reflected in domestic items, note the changing dress styles, find the connection between the preservation of trees at Lumley Park and Ambrose and discover who was the oldest man to climb Ayers Rock!
