World’s best bodyboarders arrive on the Gold Coast

The world's most elite body boarders have arrived on the Gold Coast this week for the NMD Board Co. D'Bah Pro scheduled for this weekend.

"We've had a huge number of entrants into this event and it's great to be able to bring the best body boarders in the world to the Gold Coast to compete." ABA General Manager Ben O'Borne said

The Pro Am event will be held in conjunction with Surfing Queensland's State Bodyboarding Titles throughout the weekend, where State Champions will be crowned and a Queensland Team selected to compete at the forthcoming Australian Bodyboarding Titles.

2013 Queensland Body boarding Title Events Champions, Lachlan Cramsie (Mooloolaba, QLD), Elliot Williams (Kingscliff, NSW) and Eric Roy (Palm Beach, QLD) will all take on the world's best in Friday's NMD Board Co. D'Bah Pro, before slipping on their Queensland rashie to compete in the State Titles over the weekend.

Early forecast modules indicate great conditions for Duranbah Beach for both the Pro Am and State Title.
