Workshop sparks it up for writers

Brisbane writer and journalist Kristina Olsson will lead a writing workshop called ‘Sparking It Up’ at Byron Bay on Saturday (February 6).

Ms Olsson will put writers through their paces and explore ways to establish a writing practice.

Expect to have the passion reignited with seductive and challenging exercises, readings and discussions that will get the thoughts and feelings flowing and words on the page.

The workshop, organised by the Northern Rivers Writers Centre, will be held at the Presbyterian Hall in Ruskin Street from 10am to 4pm. Limited places available and bookings essential so call Northern Rivers Writers Centre on 6685 5115 or email

Members’ price is $67.50 and non-members is $80.
