Woman shot with an arrow, rushed to hospital

A WOMAN is in hospital after she was shot with an arrow last night.

Just before 5pm, emergency services were called to a house on Bardsley Ave, in Adelaide's Parafield Gardens, where a woman had been shot in the leg.

The suspect, who was known to the woman, left prior to officers arriving.

Police believe he may have sustained an injury during an altercation.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening, and inquiries are continuing.
