Woman killed in freak driveway accident

AN 80-year-old woman has died after she became trapped underneath a car on a driveway when it rolled over her last night in NSW.

Just before 7.30pm, emergency services rushed to Fish Parade, in the Bathurst Suburb of Gormans Hill after the reports were made.


It is understood the elderly woman got out of the Toyota Corolla and walked in front of it, when the car rolled over her.

She died at the scene.

Officers from Chifley Local Area Command will continue their inquiries into the events leading up to the woman’s death. A report will be prepared for the Coroner

Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
