
Woman burnt in caravan fire on Pacific Hwy still critical
A WOMAN injured in a caravan fire at Glenugie remains in a critical condition in a Brisbane hospital.
The caravan was parked at the Dinjerra Road Rest Area just off the Pacific Highway when it caught alight at about 2.40pm last Thursday.
The 45-year-old owner of the vehicle sustained severe burns to a large portion of her body.
She was transported by ambulance to Grafton Airport, before being airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The caravan was destroyed in the fire.
