Wallabies add muscle to pack

WALLABIES coach Ewen McKenzie has beefed up his pack ahead of the daunting two-game Rugby Championship tour of South Africa and Argentina.

NSW loosehead and 59-Test representative Benn Robinson (pictured) has been recalled to Australia's 28-man squad in place of Scott Sio after being left out of the first four games in the four-nation tournament.

Queensland Reds lock James Horwill will also return as captain after recovering from the hamstring strain that kept him out of the past two games.

"South Africa and Argentina are always brutal games, so you need to give an edge to physicality in your selections," McKenzie said.

The uncapped Queensland Reds duo of front-rower Albert Anae and winger Chris Feuai-Sautia are also in a squad which has lost Jesse Mogg (shoulder reconstruction) and Nick Cummins (broken hand), while Brumbies winger Joe Tomane is in line to play his first Test since the series loss to the British and Irish Lions.

The Wallabies play the Springboks in Cape Town on September 28 before meeting Argentina in Rosario on October 5.
