Wait’s over as The Biggest Loser's winner just hours away

TONIGHT'S Biggest Loser grand final will have one lone man up against three feisty females.

The latest series of the reality weight-loss show focused on the Victorian town of Ararat, which was one of the country's fattest towns before the show's trainers whipped residents into shape.

The town smashed its weight-loss goal of 26,000kg and now the show's four finalists will be hoping for a similar result as they step on to the scales one last time.

Finalists Craig Booby, Sharon Basset, Toni Stockwell and Katrina Pianta are the remaining "town champions" vying for the show's $75,000 grand prize.

Sales manager Craig, 34, has made it to the grand final in the face of strong opposition from the three women, who were part of the "awesome foursome" alliance with recently eliminated contestant Jane.

"After that whole period of time (on the show) they became more like sisters," host Hayley Lewis told APN.

"They're all around the same age living in the same community and they became quite close quite quickly. I don't think I've ever been as teary as when Jane was booted off."

Lewis believes Craig, who has more weight to lose than the three women, will be hard to beat.

"When he gets home for the period of time (before the finale) it's up to him to lose the weight," she said.

"He's devoting (a lot of) time to losing the weight. It's going to be a lot more difficult for them (the girls).

"Craig is very focused now, but they've got the support that Craig hasn't. Craig's got a small family, but the girls have quite large families.

"It's one of those things, when we say goodbye to them at the end and don't see them until finale, it comes down to who makes the biggest commitment when they go home."

The eliminated town champions will also unveil their new slimmer selves and compete for $10,000.

Lewis tips supermarket manager Cameron to win the secondary prize.

"He was the one who left quite early on because of the heart problem," she said.

The Biggest Loser: Challenge Australia grand final airs tonight at 6.30pm on Ten.
