RUGBY LEAGUE: Sometimes there are just moments on the rugby league field thathave to be seen to be believed.

That is the spectacle of great sport.

And the people watching the Group 2 Tooheys New First Grade Shield action at Frank McGuren Field in Grafton on Sunday witnessed one of those moments of brilliance.

Despite the game being dead and buried with the home side the Grafton Ghosts leading the Nambucca Heads Roosters 34-12 midway through the second half, the Roosters pulled out an ingenious kick-off that could be the play of the season.

Left centre Zac Johnson bagged his second try of the afternoon off the back of a smart restart in play. Both sides went on to score another try with the Ghosts pulling off a gutsy 40-24 victory at home.

This sort of action can only be viewed at a Group 2 fixture and the Clarence Valley is getting a double dose of league this weekend when the South Grafton Rebels host the Orara Valley Axemen on Saturday afternoon at McKittrick Park followed by the Ghosts hosting the Bellingen-Dorrigo Magpies on Sunday afternoon at Frank McGuren Field.
