Two bodies found by police treated as suspicious deaths

THE discovery of two bodies following the separate puzzling disappearances of a man and woman in NSW has prompted calls from the Homicide Squad for clues.

Police made their first grisly find on Sunday at the bottom of a cliff near the Nowra showgrounds.

While the name of the female victim had not been confirmed on Tuesday night, police believed she was the same woman reported missing from Bomaderry last week.

An image of the woman's car, a missing black 2007 Toyota Yaris with the NSW registration plates BCR66M, was released in the hope someone in NSW may have seen it.

Less than 24 hours later, police discovered the body of a missing man in a house at Tahmoor.

The alarm was raised after a friend of the man, believed to be aged in his 40s, became concerned for his welfare.

A crime scene was established on Tuesday and police were treating the death as suspicious.

Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
