Twitter makes light of Johns' Toowoomba misadventures

TOOWOOMBA is in the national spotlight again after a visit by NRL immortal Andrew Johns.
He was photographed resting on the floor at Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport on Friday night after speaking at a Spotted Cow event.
Pittsworth woman Helen Wright also alleged he made explicit comments to her.
He later personally apologised to her and was dumped from the Channel 9 coverage of the NRL rugby league grand final.

Despite the controversy, comedians have lampooned Johns online using Twitter and Facebook to make light of events.
Triple M host Bryan Madigan posted a photoshopped image of Cowboys star James Tamou carrying Andrew Johns instead of a baby.
"Despite being dumped from the @Channel9 @NRL GF commentary team. #andrewjohns still makes it into the coverage," he wrote.
Another user posted the now famous photo of Johns lying on the floor at the Toowoomba airport writing, "Right, it's time to cross live to Andrew Johns. Andrew, how's things in Toowoomba? Oh."

THE STORY SO FAR: Andrew Johns apologises after drunken Toowoomba encounter
It didn't take long for people to start making memes about Johns' now notorious visit to Toowoomba.
One photo showed Johns resting on the airport floor with the text "what a game!!! I think I need to lay down."
Another popular image shows Johns resting on the floor while four NRL commentators talk about the game.

He does have his defenders though and as yet there is no proof that Johns did anything untoward.
His apology and subsequent sacking from the NRL grand final commentary team does speak for itself though.
