Tourists offered $1 flights to Qld

MARKING another industry first Tiger Airways is offering customers who book a return flight between Melbourne and any of three North Queensland destinations the opportunity to fly one way for a single dollar.

This extraordinary week long offer is available to passengers travelling between Rockhampton, Mackay or Cairns and Melbourne (the $1 fare needs to be purchased online as part of a return fare on a round trip) as Tiger Airways continues to support the recovery efforts in far north Queensland.

The $1 sale fares are expected to be snapped up quick and as usual, Tiger’s Stripes members can enjoy a 24 hour head start, as they do with all the special promotions across the Tiger network.

The $1 fare offer goes on sale from early Saturday morning 12 February 2011 until midnight Friday 18 February 2011 or until sold out.
