Thieves caught in high fashion handbag heist

THREE accused thieves with an eye for high fashion have been charged over a handbag heist at a designer store in Sydney's CBD.

Multiple alarms were triggered at the Louis Vuitton flagship store on George St after three men allegedly smashed through a window early Thursday.

The men allegedly ran off with a haul of signature handbags before being tracked to the basement car-park by officers from the dog squad.

They were taken to the Rocks Police Station and charged with aggravated break, enter and steal.
