The Hard Word: Slipknot singer has broken neck

Corey Taylor has a broken neck.
"Basically broke my neck a while back & didn't realize it. Had 2 have disc replaced & work on vertebrae. Those 1st shows rescheduled for Aug."
Thankfully, his 'virtually' broken neck will not put the Australian tour in jeopardy.
It will, however, mean his stage performance could be restrained as doctors have ordered him to not headbang.
Judging by his tweet though, the singer should be 90% recovered so the full brutality of the band will be on display.
"Neck Update: follow-up appt w/ Dr was great! For now, no headbanging, jumping. But I'll sing my ass off. Back to 90% 4-6 months, 100%/year."
