A teenage boy has died after a series of altercations in Perth yesterday

A TEENAGE boy was thrown through a windscreen to his death after the car he was in drove into a crowd of people in Perth yesterday.

The death came after a fight erupted at a suburban McDonald's where two people were stabbed and a second altercation in nearby Eucalyptus Boulevard in Canning Vale, in Perth's south.

Both those incidents are believed to be related to the car crash. Police allege the car deliberately drove into a group of teens.

At least two people were injured in the crash and a number of others injured in the earlier clashes.

One student told Nine they saw an injured male face down on the concrete.

"They looked kind of unconscious. There was some people that were helping them and there was a red car with branches hanging out the side of it," Jaime Taylor said.

The female driver of the car and a passenger have been arrested but not yet charged.

"There's a number of incidents involving people fighting which culminated in a fairly serious incident at a fast food outlet on Ranford Rd and then another serious incident that occurred here behind me in Eucalyptus Boulevard in Canning Vale," Inspector Tony Hill said

"At this stage we believed that they are linked. Some of the parties are involved in a number of the incidents."
