Summer is sweet with gelato
NESTLED in Casuarina's Salt village is a perfect place to nourish a sweet tooth on a hot day.
Piccolo Gelato owners Anna and Marco Cenfi make home-made Italian gelato every morning from all natural ingredients.
“We thought of Piccolo because it means small in Italian,” Mrs Cenfi said.
“We are a small, cute little shop.”
Originally from Rome, Mr Cenfi opened the gelato shop last September.
“The shop offers 16 different flavours and if one is out there is always a back-up,” Mrs Cenfi said.
“When it is hot everyone loves gelato.”
