KELLY  Clarkson has tweeted her delight at being pregnant

The singer, who had promised that she was planning on being with child by the holidays after tying the knot with Brandon Blackstock last month, tweeted the happy news on Wednesday morning.

"I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)" she wrote.

Kelly's child will be the third child for Blackstock, who has two kids from a previous marriage.
