Surf club juniors in FNC team

Six Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club juniors have been named as part of the Far North Coast team for 2010.

The event will be held on December 12 at Soldiers Beach in NSW.

It’s a huge achievement as competition is fierce to secure a prized spot in the FNC team.

All surf clubs from Yamba in the south to Fingal in the north are included in the FNC Branch.

The selectors from FNC Branch have been keeping close watch at carnivals for the past 12 months and select only three males and three females in each age group from under 12s, under 13s and the under 14s, and Byron Bay has had members selected in every age.
