Suffolk swimmer's body found

POLICE in the Tweed/Byron Local Area Command will prepare a report for the Coroner following the discovery of a man’s body on Tallows Beach this morning.
 
About 6.30am police received an anonymous phone call regarding a body washed up on Tallows Beach, near Byron Bay.
 
Upon arrival, police discovered a deceased male, believed to be aged in his 30s.

Police are currently establishing the identity of the deceased.
