Steve Irwin baby dangling croc show relived in NT posts

CROCODILE Hunter Steve Irwin made international headlines about 10 years ago when he dangled his new born baby in front of a crocodile.

Now it seems someone without the training or expertise the late Wildlife Warrior had has done the same, albeit without the television crews around.

But Facebook photos showing the nine-month-old baby being tangled in croc-infested waters of the Northern Territory's infamous Cahills Crossing have sparked outrage.

"I know how the photo looks, a couple of people have told me that looked a bit dangerous," she said.

"At the time the river was completely down, he's at the edge of the water and there were heaps of people around him."

A woman who saw the photos online said it disturbed her because of the Crossing's notoriety for large numbers of big crocs.
