'Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley innings is over'
AUSSIE cricket legend Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley have reportedly called it stumps on their relationship, ending months of speculation.
"It is very sad and they tried to make it work but there were just too many issues in the way," an insider told HELLO! magazine.
"Elizabeth is taking it one day at a time. She will always be extremely fond of Shane.''
Work commitments have meant that Warne and Hurley have been living at opposite ends of the world.
Warne is covering the Ashes for the Nine Network, spending time with his children in Perth.
Yesterday, he was expressing excitement over Australia getting its hands back on the ashes.
Hurley, 48, will be with her 11-year-old son Damian at Donnington Hall in Herefordshire - the new family home she and Shane had bought together.
Today, there was speculation an overnight tweet by Warne was suggesting his past had caught up with him.
The past should be the past & stay there. It destroys the future. Live life for what tomorrow has to offer, not for what happened yesterday— Shane Warne (@warne888) December 16, 2013
