Teams from as far away as Fiji and New Zealand will join regional and metropolitan teams in this weekend’s Byron Bay Sevens tournament at the Rec Ground.

Organisers say there will be 32 men’s and 16 women’s teams competing in the popular tournament, now in its 20th year.

The action kicks off on Saturday at 9 am, with the finals set down for Sunday afternoon.
