Serious erosion causes damage at Clarkes Beach

BIG surf conditions have effected infrastructure at Clarkes Beach, Byron Bay, this morning, with locals sending in photos to The Northern Star of the damage.

The Bureau of Meteorology had forecasted winds of about 10 knots, reaching up to 20 knots south of Cape Byron during this morning, and an easterly swell of a metre.
