Search still on for missing plane

A MASSIVE land and sea search continued on Tuesday night for a plane which went missing while carrying a family from a remote Northern Territory cattle station.

The pilot reported bad weather conditions after taking off from the Bullo River Station in the Eastern Kimberley region on Monday and, by nightfall, the plan had still not reached its destination near Darwin.

Onboard were a 45-year-old man, his wife and their two teenage children.

A dozen aircraft and police boats scoured a 1800sqkm area on Tuesday but at the time of going to press the plane had not been found.
