Sarah Mackay eliminated from The Bachelor

SARAH Mackay has been eliminated from The Bachelor on the eve of the grand final.

The 26-year-old event manager's reservations about opening up to a man who was still dating two other women was enough to send her home from the reality show.

Bachelor Sam Wood told Mackay he couldn't be sure about their future together, despite getting along well with her family and both of them living in Melbourne.

"You are this beautiful, driven, intelligent woman and I know you're destined for great love and great success," he said.

"I have seen the glimpses of all of your amazing qualities. I just feel like I probably didn't see those glimpses enough to be sure about us.

"The last two weeks we've grown the most together (but) I just feel like we didn't grow as much as I would have hoped."

In tomorrow's grand final Wood will introduce the remaining two finalists, Lana Jeavons-Fellows and Snezana Markoski, to his family before choosing which woman he will give the final rose of the season.

Tonight's episode also featured Wood designing a "bespoke" diamond ring to give to the winning woman, although tomorrow's grand final is unlikely to include a proposal after last year's debacle.

"I've said from the beginning that I couldn't see myself proposing (at the end of the show)," Wood told APN.

"Read into that what you will."

More than three months after filming the final episode, Wood says he's still with the woman he chooses and that they're madly in love.

The Bachelor grand final airs tomorrow at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
