AUSTRALIA'S favourite lovelorn blonde will not be Channel 10's Bachelorette, telling national media that she could not think of anything worse.

Frost was thought to be a top option for the female version of the ever-popular dating show after she "won" a marriage proposal from 2014 series Bachelor Blake Garvey.

Garvey later became widely reviled when he backtracked from his proposal later on.

Now Frost is saying she "couldn't think of anything worse" than being the Bachelorette.

"I have (been asked) and I turned it down," she told The Herald Sun.

"The Bachelor was 2014 and I just want to move forward.

"I couldn't think of anything worse than being The Bachelorette to be honest."

Betting agency Sportsbet is putting Laurina Fleure -- remember the 'dirty street pie' comment? -- as the most likely pick, followed by bubbly blond, Ali Oetjen from the 2013 series.

Sportsbet reckons firebrand Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie's odds are at $101.

Sportsbet's Will Byrne said: "Sam had a somewhat thorny relationship with Blake but she'll be seeing no more roses judging by the odds".

Channel 10 confirmed the future of The Bachelorette Australia late last year.
