Rolf Harris forced to wait for verdict

THE jury sitting in the Rolf Harris trial in London will return tomorrow to continue its deliberations into whether the former entertainer assaulted seven girls and women.

Harris, 86, has pleaded not guilty to six counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault.

The Crown alleges he groped the complainants, who were aged between 12 years and 42 years, at locations across London between 1971 and 2004.

The seven-woman, five-man jury began deliberating on Wednesday.

They will return on Friday morning (London time) to continue their deliberations.
