Relay for Life to be launched

There will be no Relay for Life in Bangalow this year, but organisers are already planning next year’s event.

After four very successful relays, raising about $200,000 for cancer research, the organising committee decided to ‘rest’ the relay this year.

It will be held next year at the Bangalow Showground on March 12 and 13.

Next year’s walk will be launched on Saturday at the Bangalow Bowling Club at 7pm.

It will be a Family Trivia night for families with the cost $5 per person.

For further information on ‘Relay for Life’ and how you can help, contact Susan Tsicalas on 0422014607 or Rory Janssens at the Cancer Council Alstonville 66270300, or visit www.relay.cancercouncil.com.au and register your team now.
