Red-bellied black snake found in a child's sand pit

A RED-bellied black snake was found in a child's sand pit in Nanango.

Snake Catcher Christian Textillis Andersen said the family had dogs and children who often played in the pit. 

He successfully caught the snake and took it away to be released safely. 

Mr Andersen managed to capture the event on film, take a look.
