Radradra stars as Eels beat Tigers

A TRY double from Semi Radradra has helped the Eels to a come-from-behind 28-16 win over the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium.

Radradra also became the first man since Ray Preston in 1954 for Newtown to score multiple tries in five straight games in Australian rugby league.

The win summed up Parramatta's inconsistent season after the Tigers fought back from being 12-0 down to take a 16-12 half-time lead.

Eels skipper Tim Mannah opened the scoring, his first try since 2012, before Luke Kelly added a second.

But just as it seemed they would ease to victory, the Eels went to sleep and the Tigers struck back, thanks to two tries from Kevin Naiqama and another from Pat Richards.

Naiqama was close to scoring a spectacular third but after the break, the Eels took control again.

Chris Sandow and Corey Norman came to the fore and Radradra scored a try following a Norman kick and set Sandow up for another following the half-back's up-and-under, as the Eels took control.

Radradra sealed the deal with seven minutes left after Sandow's cutout pass put the Fijian in the corner.
