QUEEN Of Peace is the third single from Florence and The Machine's third studio album How Big How Blue How Beautiful.

The album landed the No 1 ARIA album chart position over multiple weeks, the first of her albums to so, AND continues to hold in the top five album chart.

The album is also accredited gold, just one month after its release.

Florence and the Machine are an English indie rock band that formed in London in 2007, consisting of lead singer Florence Welch, Isabella Summers, and a collaboration of other artists.

Florence Welch has been compared to other female singers such as Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux, PJ Harvey and Björk.

Welch has cited American singer Grace Slick as her influence and 'hero'.

Welch has stated that her lyrics related to Renaissance artists.

"We're dealing with all of the same things they did - love and death, time and pain, heaven and hell."

The release of the new single caps off a remarkable few months for Florence, who amidst topping charts globally with the new album, stepped in to headline Glastonbury Festival this month and was hailed as the star of the event.
