Elsa of Disney's Frozen 'locked up' for causing cold weather
QUEEN Elsa of Arendelle has been arrested by police in the United States, after she was caught attempting to freeze a fountain in South Carolina.
Tired of the frosty weather, the community and police started blaming the ice Queen, made famous by Disney's Frozen.
According to local news outlet WCVB, "she was arrested quickly and led away in handcuffs by local police fed up with the cold weather".
"You have the right to remain as silent as the northern lights," she was told.
"Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law that hopefully has a fireplace and hot chocolate."
It follows an edict by the Kentucky Police Department which called for Elsa's arrest after the cold weather set in.
She was later found "not guilty by reason of elemental predetermination" and eventually freed.
Officially, the arrest was staged by a company that specialises in sending princesses to parties.
