Police find Mackay man who was reported missing

A 76-YEAR-OLD man reported missing in Mackay yesterday has been located safe and well this morning.

Police wish to thank members of the community for their assistance with in this matter.



POLICE are seeking public assistance to help locate a 76-year-old man reported missing in Mackay since yesterday afternoon.

Cecil Finn was last seen at a residential facility on George Street, near Field Street around 4.30pm but has not been seen since.

Police and family hold concerns for his wellbeing as he suffers from a medical condition and is required to take medication regularly.

He is described as being Caucasian, about 170cm tall with grey hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be wearing a long-sleeved jacket with stripes, white shorts and thongs.

Anyone who may have seen him is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
