POLICE are appealing for information over four cattle they believe were stolen from Riverton, south of Texas on the Queensland, New South Wales border.

Four Droughtmaster cross Heifers were reported stolen last month from a 750 acre open-grazing and farming block on the Queensland side of the border near Riverton and Bonshaw, New South Wales.

The heifers are all branded with a Queensland brand depicting the letters CG over some wings. The brand is on the near-side rump.

The heifers weigh between 320 and 470 kilograms and were last accounted for at the end of October last year.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during that time, or may have information directly linked to the heifers, is urged to come forward.
