Police find body of teen boy on road after crash

TEENAGE heroics took a tragic turn for an 18-year-old car crash victim in Sydney's west.

Police rushed to Marsden Park late Monday following reports a blue Commodore had been doing burn-outs, but by the time they arrived, it was already too late.

Jesse Smith's lifeless body was found in the middle of the road, metres away from his crushed car which had flipped onto its roof.

Floral tributes were being placed at the scene by grieving family and friends on Tuesday.

Three teenagers, who were reportedly in the car at the time of the crash, allegedly ran from the scene and were assisting police with their inquiries.
