Police charge cab driver for alleged attack on young woman

A TAXI driver accused of attacking a woman as she got out of his car in Sydney has been charged.

A 21-year-old woman told police on Monday she had been assaulted after travelling from Kings Cross to Maroubra.

She said the man had driven off after she managed to pull herself away.

Police have since arrested a 46-year-old driver.

He will front court next month charged with indecent assault and detain with intent to obtain advantage.
