POLE dancing isn't for everyone but Travis Scott certainly shocked and awed when he was in Toowoomba, according to Mind Body Pole's Brooke Jones.

The Brisbane-based pole dancer, who appeared on Australia's Got Talent and is the 2013 Australian Pole Dancing Fitness Champion Men's Winner showed off his amazing skills at a function at Mind Body Pole on Friday.

Ms Jones said he made the trip up the range to perform before teaching the Toowoomba teachers.

"Mind Body Pole has a sister pole dance studio in Brisbane, Pure Pole, so they came up for a pole party," she said.

"Everyone was in shock and so impressed with his (Travis Scott) strength and ability."

Ms Jones said Mr Scott and the Pure Pole dancers would be coming up to Toowoomba once a week and as well as teaching the Toowoomba teachers would run workshops and take one-on-one lessons.

She said the teachers had a wealth of experience to draw upon as they had all competed in Queensland and Australian pole championships.
