PERMANENT is local teen musician's Hannah Parrington's latest song.
The new release, launched last week, coincided with the song winning the Best Pop category at the 25th NCEIA Dolphin Awards 2016.
This was the second win in a row for the Byron Shire singer after winning the Youth category in 2015.
Hannah Parrington teamed up with producer Steve Law and music programmer Thomas Shaw to create Permanent, offering a new direction in sound for the young musician.
Parring ton also won Female Songwriter of the Year at the Lismore Young Songwriter's Competition.
This year she was also chosen as a wildcard for the Mullumbimby Music festival Youth Mentorship program by Iain Shedden, music editor of The Australian.
"I was impressed by Hannah's grasp of live looping and its role in song structure, but also liked the song and the confidence in her voice," said Mr Shedden.
At only 15 years of age, Hannah has already released an EP in 2015 and has been writing songs since she was 8 years old.
