Palmer says he’ll hang on to resort

CLIVE Palmer has quashed the rumour that he has sold Palmer Coolum Resort.

A source told the Daily this week that the resort had been sold.

Sources in real estate and the Coolum community told the Daily they had also heard Mr Palmer had sold the resort.

But Mr Palmer (pictured) has denied the resort has changed hands.

"The property's not for sale, not offered for sale," he said.

He said the resort was still owned by Coeur de Lion Investments, which was "100% owned by me".

He said he liked the resort, intended to keep running it as a resort and had no intention of selling.

"I like going for walks in the woods," he added.

Mr Palmer said the rumour seemed to do the rounds periodically.

"It's just not true," he said.
