Man accused of raping daughter's friend during sleepover

TWO men accused of child sex offences have fronted the Hervey Bay court on charges relating to the alleged assault of young girls.

One, a man in his 40s, who cannot be named, stands accused of raping his daughter's friend during a sleepover at a Hervey Bay address.

The other is accused of the prolonged sexual abuse of a relative.

Between them, the men face 19 charges including rape, indecent treatment, and stupefying to commit an offence.

Both have been remanded to appear in court next month.
