Operation Phoenix targeting dangerous driving and DUI

ON Monday seven people died on NSW roads. Now the police are launching an operation to reduce the death toll in the lead up to Christmas.

Operation Phoenix II begins today and will see police targeting dangerous driving.

Officers will be patrolling surburban roads and major highways across the state with high visibility random breath testing and speed enforement as the main focus.

Operation Phoenix II will run until December.
