Oklahoma reach conference final

THE Oklahoma City Thunder reached the Western Conference finals today after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 105-90 in game seven of their semifinal series.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder with a game high 39 points.

The Thunder will play the Dallas Mavericks in a best of seven series with the winner advancing to the NBA finals.

It is the first time the Thunder have reached the conference finals since relocating from Seattle at the end of the 2007/08 season.

The side last won a conference title in 1996 as the Sonics before losing to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls are playing off in the Eastern Conference final.
