Oh Julia, the 'I'm a woman' card was really just a yawn

I'M SORRY Julia, but did you really have to play the "I'm a woman" card on the way out the door?

That alone may have set back the cause of angry women everywhere by decades.

Have you had a tough time? Name one PM who hasn't.

There's always someone nipping at the heels, plotting the downfall ... remember how you did it?

Did they say things about your looks? How do you think "Eyebrows" Howard and "Wingnut (Budgie Smuggler)" Abbott feel?

Politics in Australia is a dirty game, and getting dirtier by the day.  You can't expect people to go soft because you are either male or female:  Play the game, take the blows.

You see, Julia, the Australian people are not stupid.

The fact is we don't like someone who knifes our PM.

We also don't like lies.

These are the things on which you should ponder - they are the things in a PM, male or female, that make us cranky.

The sexism card became tiresome. It is a real issue for many women across the world - not something that should become a cover for incompetence.

Goodbye now Julia, and good luck.
