BOOKS have been around for hundreds of years but for much of that time they were not available to everyone. Only the upper classes or scholars were able to read and books were very expensive as they had to be copied by hand.

It was not until the invention of the printing press and introduction of public libraries that books became more widely available.

Today books available in printed and electronic formats to virtually everyone.

There are books to satisfy the different tastes and areas of interest for everyone. There's fiction, non-fiction, reference, textbooks, picture books, poetry, scientific, medical, professional, educational -any kind of book you can imagine.

The importance of books and reading can never be underestimated. We only have to take advantage of them.
