Mullum swimmers to contest titles

Eight members of the Mullumbimby Swimming Club will represent their schools at the State Swimming Championships to be held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, Homebush, in Sydney.
 Mullumbimby High School representatives Ziggy Jack, Jake Musgrave, Luke Condie, who are all in Year 7, and Danni Rowland in Year 9 will compete at the High School’s State Championships.
Selena Collinson is in Year 6 at Mullumbimby Public School and Tristan Ludlow is in Year 6 at Brunswick Heads Public School. Tristan is racing in the 12yrs 100 free, 50 free, 50 fly, 50 back, 200 IM at the Public Schools State Championships.
 Abby Lang in Year 6 will represent St John’s Primary School at the Polding State Catholic Championships; and Jessica Davie from Shearwater Steiner School will swim at the NSW Combined Independent Schools Secondary Championships. Jessica is in Year 11 at Shearwater Steiner School. She is 16 and will be competing in 50m free, 50m butterfly and 100m free.
 In addition to training five sessions a week at the Mullumbimby Pool, Jess also plays cello with the Cape Byron Steiner Ensemble and is an award winner in Shearwater’s Wearable Arts production.
