Constable Casey Blain crashed on a rural road near Georgetown.

He leaves behind his wife and young child.Only four days after launching the Easter road safety campaign, Queensland Transport and Main Roads Minister Scott Emerson said it was disappointing to see people not listening to warnings.

"We don't want to see any further tragedies this long weekend."

Three people also died in two separate crashes on Good Friday in South Australia taking that state's road toll to four for the weekend.

The death of a cyclist north of Melbourne on Sunday took Victoria's Easter road toll to three.
