More accolades for resort

The Byron at Byron Resort continues on its award-winning way, being named ‘No 2 best spa in Australia’ at the Luxury Travel Gold List Awards held in Sydney recently.

Marketing manager Holly Galbraith attended the awards ceremony.

Byron at Byron was up against the country’s best and was eclipsed only by the Angsana Spa in Palm Cove.

Another local spa, Gaia, was awarded number five spa in Australia.

The awards recognise ‘the best travel experiences in the world’.

The award for Byron at Byron comes only a month after the resort received the coveted ‘Best Resort Accommodation’ award for an accommodation property under 100 rooms in The Australian Travel and Tourism Awards.

“We are constantly surprised at the recognition we receive from both our new and repeat guests,” general manager of the resort John Parche said.

“It has been an absolute surprise and a great boost to the staff that these awards were announced in our favour.

“We constantly strive to ensure that total guest satisfaction is achieved and our staff is just overjoyed to receive these accolades.”
