McClymonts, Morgan Evans win at CMC Music Awards

GRAFTON'S all-sister trio The McClymonts were named Group of the Year at tonight's CMC Music Awards.

The fifth annual awards were held in Brisbane for the first time at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Host Morgan Evans took home two awards including Male Oz Artist of the Year.

Australia's top country music export Keith Urban was named International Artist of the Year, while Adam Brand took out Oz Artist of the Year and Australian Video of the Year.

Golden Guitar nominee Christie Lamb won New Oz Artist of the Year thanks to her hit debut album All She Wrote.

The awards are staged in conjunction with the CMC Rock Queensland music festival, which starts in Ipswich tomorrow.
