Man wanted for questioning over murder found in Coffs

A MAN wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of French student Sophie Collombet in Brisbane has been arrested and is in custody at Coffs Harbour.

He was arrested by Coffs Harbour detectives without incident about 3pm today.

A team of Queensland police officers are on their way to Coffs Harbour and are expected to apply for his extradition to Queensland.

Queensland police named Benjamin James Milward as a person of interest in the 21-year-old's death.

He was spotted on security vision in Kurilpa Park about the time of the killing.

Ms Collombet's naked body was found in a rotunda at the park, near the William Jolly Bridge and CBD on March 28.
