Man taken to hospital after being hit by car at Byron Bay

A PEDESTRIAN in his 20's was taken to Tweed Hospital after being hit by a car at Byron Bay this morning.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the man suffered a head wound and abrasions to his face and elbow when he was hit by the car on Lighthouse Rd at about 7.20am.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
